COVID-19 Festival Rules
We take our responsibilities in providing a fun and safe event for everyone who joins us each year very seriously, and we remain ever mindful of the risks posed by COVID-19. Our Festival Rules in relation to COVID-19 for 2022 are yet to be finalised - please check back here for updates. In the meantime, for your peace of mind, below are the rules we put in place last year to illustrate our commitment to your safety.
COVID-19 Festival Rules 2021
We are so grateful and excited to be able to put a Festival on this year for you all. Please keep in mind, however, that COVID-19 is still very much among us and we must remain vigilant.
While its not a legal requirement, to make Farmer Phil's Festival a COVID-safe event, you will be required to produce a negative lateral flow test on entry to the campsite and into the main arena.
Should you test positive for COVID-19 from Sunday 8 August 2021 onwards, we regret you will not be permitted entry to the campsite or main area and should self-isolate. Your ticket will remain valid for 2022's festival, but you must provide us with evidence of a positive PCR test result causing you to miss this year's event.
Please don’t attend the Farmer Phil's Festival site if you are meant to be self-isolating.
For your hygiene and convenience, hand sanitiser will be provided upon entry to the main arena, on entry to the bar marquee and by the WC facilities.
There is plenty of space to enjoy Farmer Phil's Festival while observing social distancing. While this is not a legal requirement, please be respectful of those who may wish to continue observing these.
Thank you for your cooperation in assisting us to put on a safe festival.
Q. Do I need to provide a negative lateral flow test if I am double-vaccinated?
Yes, although under 12s do not need to undertake a test.
Q. How do I prove I have a negative lateral flow test result?
You can either upload the result to the NHS website and take a screenshot of your results, or take a photograph of the negative result and show that as proof. Alternatively, you can produce the test in a sealed bag upon arrival at the festival site.
Q. When do I need to test?
On entry to the campsite, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the main arena.
Q. Where can I obtain a test?
You can order them from the NHS website or pick them up from a local hub - enter your postcode into the NHS website to determine your nearest hub.
Q. What if I test positive?
If you test positive on a lateral flow test you will need to take a PCR test. If that also returns a positive result, you can send us proof of this and we can roll your ticket over to 2022's festival.
